very cool website
about
i made this website to showcase my very cool projects. one of them includes a package manager, and another includes a whole 8 bit computer. in future, i will be making more cool stuff in c and putting information about it here. and this website also serves as documentation source for them
things to consider
plans
in future, this website shall showcase more of my cool stuff. and maybe i might add things which arent related to my projects. if i manage to learn javascript then i will add alot of cool functionalities to this website. note that there will sure be alot of documentation for my projects because i need people to actually use them. and maybe a better design or something? or better colors or animations or some 3d graphics
tech stack
C programming language
with c programming, i have intermediate experience. i understand pointers and manual memory allocation. i also know how to use the readline and ncurses libraries. and i know how some things like the underlying of how functions work and how object files work. so far i have made a tictactoe game, programs to help me with math, and some number system converters
Assembly language
with assembly, i have early intermediate experience. i can use instructions like mov, sub, add, sub, xor, and, syscall, and the stack. i am trying to create the same things i made in C in assembly, and the reason why i learned assembly was so that i can create some bootloader or a low level function for a compiler or something
Bash Scripting
with bash script, i am late intermediate. so i can use stuff like pipes, traps, sets, parameter expansion, arithmetic expansion, command substitution, subshells, functions, test, directory stacks, arrays, etc. i usually use bash to do repetitive system work, like some startup script or some script to speed up work. of course, one of the best things i made with bash script is the veiler package manager
HTML
html is a fairly simple language and i can say i know most of the things. basic HTML terms like tags elements attributes and tags like p, h1, br, div, span, etc that are used for markup and more complex tags like button, input, form, etc. other than that i can use inline css and js and meta tag and also some semantic html. so i can create a website on my own
CSS
i learned css after html to make my website look better, other than websites i also used it in places like waybar and rofi ( for configuring theme ). in css, i can use basic stuff like background margins fonts colors borders paddings and positions to a little advanced stuff like pseudo classes, pseudo elements, transitions, flexboxes and animations. and yet i struggle to center a div lol. so i can say i am almost advanced in css
Javascript
in javascript i am fairly new and havent gotten used to all the concepts. but as of now, i am an intermediate. i can use stuff like the DOM, variables, arrays, array and string methods, functions, fetch API, loops and etc. i am using javascript for my package repository and i will use it more in future for this website. also i encounted javascript while using qml to build my own quickshell config
Git
git is something every developer atleast uses once, including me. i would say i am an intermediate in git because i do not know complex topics like fast-forwarding divergent branches, etc. however, i can clone a repository, add and commit changes, stash and pull and push to the repository. i even used it for the repository of the website
Linux
linux and unix is something that every programmer should be aware of. i can say i am quite advanced in linux, i can use commands beyond just normal usage. so, i know a few advanced commands like mkfs lsblk sed grep awk wipefs mount and chroot. i have done things like LFS and i have installed arch linux, and gentoo linux and nixos. i can say i understand things like the filesystem, the kernel, the FHS, POSIX, permissions, owners, groups, using the shell, and etc. i am looking forward to deeply understand the linux kernel to create my own kernel modules or perhaps take inspiration to create my own kernel.
